책소개
유방영상학은 영상진단기기의 발전과 더불어 의학의 어느 분야보다도 눈부신 발전을 이루고 있다. 이는 의학적?기술적 발전 때문이기도 하지만, 그만큼 유방 관련 질환이 늘어가고 있다는 의미이기도 하다. 우리나라에서 유방암은 발생빈도가 매년 증가하여 현재 여성암 중 1위를 달리고 있으며, 특히 젊은 여성의 유방암 발생률이 높다. 그렇다 보니 유방암 조기발견의 중요성이 더욱더 높아지고 있고, 유방영상 전문의들의 책임 또한 나날이 커지고 있다.
의학계의 노력과 국가에서 규제하는 화질관리의 영향으로 유방영상의 질과 진단 및 치료 분야의 지식과 기술은 꾸준히 향상되고 있다. 이 같은 지식과 제도를 바탕으로 의료진은 임상에서 좀더 정확하고 빨리 병변을 발견하고 치료할 수 있어야 한다. 임상에서는 비슷한 영상소견을 보이는 병변들이 상당히 많기 때문에, 의료진은 어떤 병변에 적절한 촬영술과 감별진단, 이후 진단검사법의 선택 등과 관련해 정확한 가이드라인이나 대책을 습득하고 있어야 한다.
이 책은 한국 유방영상학의 권위자인 오기근 연세대 교수를 중심으로 총 23명의 연세대학교 전?현직 교수들이 임상에서 경험하고 해결한 방법을 문제집 형식으로 엮은 유방영상학 증례집이다. 우리나라 최고의 대표저자와 집필진이 엄선한 182개의 증례들을 레벨에 따라 1, 2, 3단계로 나누어 구성했다. 단계가 올라갈수록 문제가 어려워지기 때문에, 독자들은 해결하기 쉬운 레벨부터 어려운 레벨까지 차근차근 이해해 나갈 수 있다
